Heather's journey began with a successful career as a Fashion Buyer, during which she contributed her expertise to renowned brands like Arcadia, Mothercare, and Ralph Lauren. Her passion for the fashion industry led her to become a dedicated lecturer at the University of the Arts London (UAL), where she imparted her knowledge at the London College of Fashion's Fsshion Business School, specialising in Fashion Management, and Product Management.

Over the years, Heather's deep involvement in the fashion world allowed her to witness firsthand the environmental impact of the industry. Concerned about the negative consequences of fast fashion and unsustainable practices, she embarked on a mission to advocate for ethical fashion.

This mission gave birth to Recrea, a platform dedicated to sustainable fashion events. Recrea host a variety of engaging and informative events, including clothing swaps, upcycling workshops, enlightening talks, and  children's fashion clubs and parties, all focused on ethical fashion.

Our aim is clear: to educate and inspire people to adopt a conscious approach to apparel consumption.
